I was pleasantly surprised to find that the EM03 is almost identical to the Microsoft Explorer, which I used for over a decade before it broke. The EM03 offers more in terms of technical and visual features, making it the perfect replacement for the discontinued Explorer.

Unfortunately, it’s designed only for right-hand use. A notable drawback is the absence of a dedicated trackball driver. However, the X-Mouse Button Control software provides a workaround, offering free key programming. It’s available in both an installation and a portable version. My rating would be a full five stars if it included a driver, but it still earns a solid four.

Purchasing this trackball mouse as a replacement for my old “Trackman Marble” has left me completely satisfied.
